Corn Kernels (45 lb/ft3)
Shelled corn kernels for retail popcorn applications are available in a variety of packages: bags, pouches, jars, jugs, tubs and tubes. The containers range in size from 3 oz. to 8 lb.
For the popcorn kernel industry we recommend for filling the Logical S-4 or the Weigh Right Model iQ-IE vibratory, net weigh bag filler.
For closing we recommend the APM Model VBS 3/8 bag band sealer. There are special lid closers available for jars, jugs, tubs and tubes.
For palletizing we recommend the Hamer Robotic Palletizer, and the ARPAC Pro pallet stretch wrapper.
Popcorn (2.5 lb./ft3)
Popped corn, caramel corn & kettle corn are available in 5-50 lb. poly bags and ½ -7 gallon tins.
For filling small containers (less than 10 lb.) we recommend the Weigh Right Model iQ-1E bagger.
For filling large containers (more than 10 lb.) we recommend the Weigh Right PMB-3600-Fl bagger
For closing the APM VBS band sealer for poly bags. There are special lid closers available for tins & pails.
